Fractional AI Officer 6 capacity slots available

AI needs an owner.

I join your leadership team part-time to decide where AI belongs, build the systems that matter, and stay accountable until they work.

Strategy is easy. Ownership is harder.

Most companies don't need another AI presentation.

They need someone responsible for answering the harder questions:

  1. 01 Where can AI actually create leverage?
  2. 02 What should we build, buy, automate, or leave alone?
  3. 03 Which models and vendors should we trust?
  4. 04 How do we integrate AI into the systems the business already runs on?
  5. 05 How do we keep humans in control where judgment matters?
  6. 06 How do we get from prototype to something people actually use?

That's the job.

I work directly with founders and leadership teams as a Fractional AI Officer—part strategist, part technical executive, and hands-on operator when the work calls for it.

What I own

AI strategy

Identify the highest-value opportunities, prioritize them, and turn them into an executable roadmap.

Systems & automation

Design and oversee AI agents, internal tools, workflows, integrations, and custom software.

Technology decisions

Evaluate models, platforms, vendors, infrastructure, security, and the economics behind them.

Implementation

Move beyond demos. Prototype quickly, direct execution, review the work, and get useful systems into production.

Team enablement

Help your existing people work effectively with AI instead of building a parallel AI department nobody understands.

Governance

Define where automation is appropriate, where approval is required, and where humans stay firmly in the loop.

Choose the level of involvement you need.

Monthly engagements reserve recurring capacity in my schedule. The daily hours are target availability, not hourly billing.

Why the weekly rate is higher

Monthly clients reserve recurring capacity and let us build momentum.

Weekly engagements are designed for short, concentrated needs and carry a higher effective rate.

Limited capacity means limited capacity.

I already work directly with a small portfolio of companies.

I'm opening 6 additional capacity slots for Fractional AI Officer engagements. All of them are open right now.

Advisory engagements use one slot. Part-Time engagements use two.

When those slots are committed, I'll stop accepting new fractional AI engagements until capacity opens again.

Sean Talbot

I've spent my career inside the systems, not outside advising them.

I've built and operated production software since 2008, worked inside long-running businesses, rebuilt legacy platforms, helped launch new products, managed technical vendors and teams, and now use AI daily as part of real production work.

That matters because AI doesn't live by itself.

It touches your software, people, operations, data, vendors, customers, security, and economics.

The useful question isn't:

“How can we use AI?”

It's:

“What should this business be able to do now that AI exists?”

Then we build it.

Client voices

What owners say

CoolFrames couldn't run without Sean. For more than a decade, he's been the technical backbone of our platform. He can get deep into the implementation when needed, then step back and think like a CTO.

Dan Blessing Dan Blessing CEO, CoolFrames

Sean helped us build Peak's auction platform from the ground up. His oversight has been essential—without him, we wouldn't be where we are today.

Matt Davison Matt Davison President, Peak Auto Auctions

What should AI own in your business?

Tell me what you're building, where you're stuck, or what you think should be working better.

I'll read the submission personally.

No outsourced sales team. No junior consultant handed the account after the call.
